Career Comparison

I’ve chosen to pursue a career in psychology. Even though marketing managers make more money than a psychologist, I’d much rather be a psychologist. Being a marketing manager would be something I’d be good at but if I was a psychologist not only would I master my job, but it would be something that I actually enjoy too. Learning about the human mind and behavior is really appealing to me, and after helping someone it gives me a feeling of satisfaction. I am also the kind of person that always wants to know why. I like knowing why things happen, why people feel what they feel, why people say what they say, and why people do what they do. Psychology allows you to understand why and it allows you to see things in ways that you never did before. I also see psychology as character development for myself as well.
