EXTENDED APPLICATION

I completed my job shadow at Marquis Centennial. I was introduced to the alzheimers residents when I first arrived and I stayed in that unit the majority of the time. The residents wanted to play card games so I repeatedly had to explain how to play the game due to their condition they kept forgetting how to play. During my job shadow I dealt with a combative resident, and I accompanied the residents during lunch. An alpaca happened to be there the day of my job shadow so I walked around the facility with the alpaca which brought joy to the residents and staff.

They don't allow pictures being taken at this facility. They didn't allow me to have my cell phone so I couldn't get a picture of myself and the alpaca. But this picture was able to be taken because it was the facilities camera. This is the alpaca I walked around with and the lady next to it is the dietary manager.
